pamme127: The wine on the left is a pepper wine I made from the peppers that were left in the community garden last fall. There were probably 10 different kinds of peppers in the mix. It was very good, but it was too hot to drink even for my dear husband, Mark, who loves hot stuff. The wine in the middle is an insipid mead. Mark tried to make 2 gallons of mead out of 5 pounds of honey. He won’t be making that mistake again. The wine in the gallon jar to the right is a mix of 1 part pepper wine to 3 parts mead. Yummy. This is the first time we have ever mixed wines and it was a success. It made two undrinkable wines into something special.
